«SAILING» TOGETHER WITH OUR YOUNG FRONTIER ISLANDERS

Under the common “banner” of invigorating and reinforcing the educational experience for school students, Giovas SA “set sails” with the voluntary, non-profit organization SYMPLEFSI (+πλευση) that successfully completes 10 years of in-practice and on-site support for the improvement of living conditions for the inhabitants of Greek frontier islands.
With the care and consideration of children and youths at the core of our corporate social responsibility values, our company supported SYMPLEFSI’s humanitarian work with the donation of stationery products and toys that would cover the needs of all kindergarten and elementary schools in the 8 islands of this year’s crossing, which took place between April 18th and 28th.
While, for our young frontier islanders in Herakleia, Sikino, Telendo and Pserimo, we had an extra surprise gift: a selection of brand-new backpacks from the GIM and Back Me Up collections for upcoming school year! Beloved heroes, like Barbie, Paw Patrol and Cars, as well as popular brands like No Fear, Maui and Hallmark, will “accompany” these students in every step of their new academic “path”.
